Hey guys.. i've read here and there that when learning raleys it can be good to try on a wakeskate first so that you get the feel of doing one without the faceplant crash if you don't bring your board down in time. But what about learning any other inverts? I have a huge mental block on attempting inverts.. i've watched tons of video, used a handle on a trampoline, everything.. so I thought about trying say a backroll on a wakeskate first just to get the feel of it? Not sure where the skate would fly on a backroll attempt but don't want to hit my head on it on the way down. What are your guys' thoughts.. good or bad idea?
