NO, the water will ruin your boat. Oh wait do you run your boat in the water or on dry land.

your carpet gets really wet but that's about it.

Oh and a little extra ballast.

Keep your stereo dry. Had a blast riding last week but cost me an amp and head unit. Oh yea; stings your eyes a little.

My concern is my stereo/amps. Other than that, rode for hours in the rain. Usually no wind, so glass for everyone. The boat should be pretty waterproof.

Is it ok...

In Seattle we have to ride in the rain dang near year round or we don't ride at all.

Some tips would be,

don't put your boat away with the engine compartment soaking wet. Eventually it will kill your starter and alternator. Use a space heater to dry it out for a couple of hours first.

Be very careful not to get your amps or head unit too wet. They can fry or eventually rust on the internals even if they're marine units.

Always pull out all of your cushions and wipe them down along with any wet areas under them.

Never ever ever wipe down your boat immediately after driving down the road while it's raining. This will kill your wax job and put little scratches all over in your gel. If I get caught in the rain while towing I wait until I get home and use a wax blend soap with a terry cloth to remove the dirt.

Hope this info helps.

I have never seen your boat Cliff, but I am guessing it is in showroom condition. One of these days I will have to get off my butt and come ride with you guys.

HIJACK WARNING

Cliff,

Do you live on Sammamish? I see my old lake in the background of your profile pick.

I grew up on that lake, hope to move back some day.

You could call Sammamish my second home! Ask "G" how his set on the Natural was if you see him out there today.

T-Bag,

The friends I ride with insisted I use that pic for my profile. They tell me it fits me to a T.
