Looked at new boats today. Need feed back on prices.

Malibu 2005
WX XTI23 standard options, trailer, tower, cover 50K, VLX, same options 48K
MC
X9 45,800 and X10 50,600

This is starting offer from dealer, which I would definitely try to get down at least 3K.

Also they had a beautiful Wakesetter 2003 with 60 hours on it for 31,900 strating price, if anyone is interested.

Where are you located? I've got a new Supra for cheap.

I've really got my heart set on either an MC or a Malibu, but thanks for the offer.

FYI, I paid around 33k for a new factory ordered 2004 DD Wakesetter. Deals are out there if you can haggle with the dealer. Boat shows are coming soon, if you're not in a hurry.

What dealer did you go to? What options did you get? I'd like to hit the tail end of the season on the river, but I can wait for a good deal

New 05 VLX is around 44-48,000 depending on options. Very few 04 VLX left. I know that Ultimate Wter Sports in Livermore or San Jose had a couple left. Try calling Devin at Ultimate Water Sports in San Jose...tell him howard told you to call. He is a fair salesman, and one of the nicest guys you will meet in the business.

jacqui, Jason is right, 2005 Malibu is incredible. Keep in mind VLX is all new for this year, 2004 VLX is now called the Vride (Which start in the high 30s)which is why some dealers may be blowing out 04 VLX's. New VLX is longer and wider, New styling and cool new features. MC X10 has been around for awhile, Its looks are outdated compared to MC's newer models, Wakes are decent but nowhere near the VLX. Good Luck.

Jacqui,
I have been looking at many different brands, and have demo'd most of them (Malibu,MC,Tige SAN). Ikow it comes down to personal preference, because they are all great boats. I am hooked on the Malibu's, at least for my needs. I was initially looking at the WS 23 LSV, since I really need the interior space. That was until I saw the new 05 VLX. SWEEET! I am hooked. The guys at Paradise are great. Can't go wrong there. They will take good care of you. Good luck!

Amazingly when we set up the Malibu demo, it was stated the Malibus would smoke the MC, comprable boats. Oddly enough when we set up the MC demo, the MC dealer stated the same as far as ride...
