I am looking for recommendations for a new surf board. I am 6" tall 190lbs looking fora surf style board. I like how easy the new Hyperlite broadcast is to ride but seeing if there are other options.

What's your skill level? I recommend spending some money on a good custom board. As you get better you will want one so might as well save yourself money in the long run and get one in the beginning. Checkout the .352 special from brigade wakesurfing. If interested message me and I can give you a discount code

also look into Soulcraft, The Walker Project, Idol surf, Mendonesia surf, Triple X and Shred Stixx. If at all possible and can afford ride before you buy. You don't what to spent the cash then find one that is better "for you"..

Most board builders would rather you be happy with a board then unhappy with theres..

If your really look hard and can't find any..let me know.

soulcraft gets my vote. Get in touch with Jeff and let him know what you are looking for in a board and he will point you in the right direction. There is a reason so many people are riding a soulcraft. Great board that will help you take it to the next level JMTC

I was riding a ronix koal and have demo'ed a few soulcrafts along the way. just got my new soulcraft. great board and great guy. did like the walker project stuff as well.. triple x can be found for some cheap prices if you are not in a hurry. seen boards from them in the mid3's.

we had a phase5 colt on our boat during the polar bear and no one liked it. they called it a hybrid, but it felt more like a super large skim to me. all 5 of us were surfstyle riders and that board didn't last 5 minutes in any set.

If I was you I would wait until the Big Boy Flyboy comes out. The flyboy are as fun as any custom and are more durable.
