Tried a different lake this past weekend where they allow pwc free reign(My normal lake has a specified area for PWC). As I was looking for some of my buddies and filling ballast some pwc were jumping my wake. They were far enough back and I wasn't pulling a rider so made for decent entertainment.
Well, two of them ended up running into each other mid air. They were a pair of the old skool yamaha 650 sit downs.
We rushed back to go get them and check that they weren't hurt and get the one whose hood was knocked off stopped.

It knocked about a 3-5in hole in the front of one and knocked the hood off the other pushing it's throttle handle through the hull and forcing it WOT.
Crazy thing is as we were towing the non running one back and checking on the rider he told me it'd happened before and that one of them would only turn to the right.

I'm so glad my home lake doesn't allow them on the main body of water.

Lake Lice - it is even funnier they had that happen before. I'm glad where I boat 95% of the time PWC's aren't allowed. Neither are tubes though, which I have mixed feelings on, as it is nice to keep the idiots on tubes away, but I like to get my tubing on from time to time too!
