It's about time I got a BU!!!

Finally pulled the trigger on a ‘newer’ BU after a few years of talking about ‘upgrading’.

Yes you may have seen this 04 VLX when Garry had it listed.... it now has a new home.

I am looking to swap out the decals to newer ones with a red back ground to add a bit of color… and to match my Tahoe.

Anyone have a pic of the newer graphics? I got an email from Bakes…. But it was a pic on a red boat and very hard to tell how much more color it would really add.

this graphic might add a little color, on a sportster but you get the picture (pun intended)...

nice vlx you got, i had a friend who was interested in it when it was posted on trader, but he opted for new. clean boat... congrats!

btw, it doesn't look like the wakesetter graphics changed a whole lot from '04-05? might hold out for those '06 graphics that made a "cameo" on here a few weeks back...

Nice, we saw your truck and new trailer at the park on Saturday but were not sure which BU was you on the water.

Hey Trav & Kara. Hope all is well with the family. Almost time for summer vacation. I hear you guys are looking to move closer to Shasta soon. Once it starts getting light a bit sooner in the AM we should be on the water 3 or 4 mornings a week. Can’t wait!

Sean, Nothing crazy for stereo yet… a few amps… Samson tower speakers and PG Sub under the driver’s feet… I am still deciding on adding more to the tower. I will be changing out decks so I can use my Ipod soon. Yes I will be running extra ballast. I thought about swapping out the tanks for bags but I am going with lead instead. I just picked up more lead yesterday… I need to add up the numbers, but it should be 700+ stock MLS+ Wedge. GOT BALLAST?

Jeff, the new decals are partially clear, so they would only show the white through them. The ones you've seen on colored boats, have the gelcoat showing through. Thought I'd tell you before you spent too much time thinking about it.
