Stereo question

Ive seen a couple stereo systems on here that have nothing but an IPOD with no actual deck. I was wondering how everyone is doing this? I'm sure there's a product on the market for this but I just don't know what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Run it through the input side on an EQ such as the Wetsounds 420

Or you use a simple ipod to rca cable, some even charge the ipod. Then you input it directly to the amplifier then daisey chain from one amp to another via the output terminals most amps have now if youare using multiple amps.

Is this the way most guys on here are doing this install? Can any EQ do this or is the WS 420 the preferred method? It seems that all I listent o anymore is the Ipod so it seems kind of pointless to have a deck installed if I don't need it

The Wet Sounds WS-420 is the mac daddy, but there are others. Look for a peripheral device that has an auxiliary input. One that is also a line driver is a plus as the headphone jack output of most MP3's are not the highest quality or best signal.
