New Board!

Hi Guys,

I just got a brand new board for the summer! I got a brand new 2004 Absolute Platinum with 2004 Zeus bindings for what sounds like an unbelievable price of around 420 bucks! Of course I had to spend an arm and a leg for a brand new boat from the same dealer but I'm so excited I can barely stand it. I've been dreaming about riding in my sleep but it's still hella cold here in Oklahoma.
My brother and I are thinking about getting drysuits, but we don't know much about them. Can anyone give me any info about them? What the average price is, how effective are they, will my hands and feet still get frostbite etc?
Everything I've read about the board and bindings have been pretty positive as well... will I be happy on it for a good while?

Joe, pick up a bare ultra dry on ebay. Everyone in the boat can wear it. I bought a size large which is supposed to fit 6' - 6'2" 180-195 lbs. My 10 year old cousin who is maybe 4'10" 90lbs. wore it as well as my buddy who is 6'4" 200 lbs. They good baggy ones fit everyone. Ask your dealer. He can probably hook you up for around $250. Also, pick up a pair of 3mm scuba golves and fill them with hot water before you put them on. Our first day of riding in Minnesota was April 16. 40 degree water, 50 degree air and cloudy. Was a little cold, but not too bad. Make sure you wear sweats underneath and you will be great. Drysuits are great investments. The problem is that none of my freinds want to ride.
