Took it out for a short ride, wrote the check, and now I am in debt. But I am a proud new owner of a 08 VLX.

Eric, we ride at Greers Ferry, about an hour north of Little Rock. The gelcoat is black and light graphite.

Congrats! Nice looking boat. I bet it's hard to have that new boat and not be able to ride behind it. Dont worry spring is just around the corner.

Nice ride. I am from Dallas and I took a vacation and stayed on Greers Ferry. Very nice lake. We met some Shirley girls and they were fun too

You're going to confuse all of the fishermen on your lake by getting into a wake boat wearing camo. They're not going to know what to think (j/k)

Congrats on the new Bu. It's beautiful!!

Thanks for the comments again guys. Rick from stuckeys wanted to take me out in it before we finalized everything and I appreciate that from him. It was supposed to be in the 50's that day, but when we put it in the water it was 36. It was cold but well worth it. I am from Arkansas, so yes we do wear camo, its duck season. Greers, hope to see ya on the lake. Thanks again for all the comments.

Jonathan sweet boat man...what part of Greers Ferry do u usually hang out on? I'm always over in the Twin Coves area if you know where that is.

Hamner, we usually put in at Choctaw and head north around the corner towards the back cove. Have alot of friends who hangout around Sugarloaf so we are usually back and forth. Hope to see ya up there.

Hey guys, just wondering if you happened to check out the Supra's down at Diamond Lakes WaterSports in Malvern before you bought?

Neil is the coolest slalom skier you weill meet, but dont let it out that he slaloms

Caleb, did not really do any comparative shopping. I really like the Supra line, but have never been in one. Actually, the only other "tow" boat that I have ever been in is my neighbors 2006 Team Nautique 226 (the big blue one currently for sale at Stuckey's). My 3 year old son's favorite color is orange, so we bought the orange and tan boat from Stuckey. We also really like the roominess of the VLX as compared to our Cobalt so it just fit our needs. Pretty much an impulse purchase, I guess. Rick and Neil help seal the deal though.

Robert, I actually did do a little shopping before buying. I was interested in the X2, X15, VLX, and the 22SSV. I live in Conway so the MC dealer is right here. Talked to them a few times, but just felt the MC's were not for me. I was pretty dead set on the supra, went to Malvern and after a while just felt the salesman and I were not seeing i to i. I am a younger guy and so was he. It seemed like he thought i was playing with him. Drove to Cabot to check the Mali's and after talking to Neil for an hour or so he called Rick and he came down. Rick was at the arenacross in little rock and drove to cabot on a saturday afternoon, (about the time the shop was closing), when he didnt have to. The boat was still wraped from the factory and they opened it up, and after talking to Rick for and hour or so, He sold me on the Malibu. I want to thank Rick and Neil again for being great people. Nothing against the Supra dealer or the MC dealer, which i know is a great dealer.

Robert, sorry my last post was to Caleb. I agree with you though, Rick and Neil helped seal the deal 4 me too.

I gotcha man.

Thats really weird, because Jon (The guy who own's diamond lakes) will go to any length to please customers. I have seen him meet people on the dock's of their local lakes across Arkansas when the shop is closed just to hand them a screw or something. Awesome salesman and even better person. Plus DLWS sold over 30 new boats last year, and results dont lie, haha.

Come on out to the INT this year, it's pulled by nothing but Supra's for the most part, and everyone there knows what their favorite boat is for sure. Plus its great people, and the compitition is fun and friendly.

But if it's not from us, Neil and Rick are good guys for sure.

Jonathon,

Saw your boat today at Stuckey's. Looks great. Give me a report on the Wet Sounds. We are switching to them this spring. Think we will go with two pair of 60s and the WS 420 EQ.
