I will probably ride, it usually opens up our season. trew, what is the level like at Smith Lake? We ride on the Warrior west of Birmingham and we generally don't have to worry about water levels, but I have been to Lake Martin in early spring and it is always low. Is Smith the same way?

Tried hitting it up earlier this week, but jetski batter was dead. I'm going to buy a new one tomorrow and try to go again tomorrow. High 64, water temp, cold as balls. Probably wearing only a heater shirt again, which is what I was wearing when I was jumping in the lake two days ago. And then I dropped the shirt and did it. I only know that the temp is just below 50, but with a recent rain, probably 45...

If anyone here is near Smith Mountain Lake VA and is taking a boat out sometime during the rest of this week, give me a call, I've got gas money!

I am Fo Sho. Ive been in the water for the past month. Gotta love California. It has been hi 60's low 70s the past couple of weeks. Wearing a 3-2 wet suit. And of course I was wearing the board shorts over the wet suit.

I won't be.
BYU is one of the few schools in the country that does not have a spring break... but at least i will be getting out sooner, graduating sooner, finding and starting my summer job sooner, etc.

So um, the water was really cold today. And stuff... And my dock start didn't go over real well as my jetski pulled me off before my dad throttled it up, so I sunk... And it was cold... But definitely worth it.

Stupid people with boats and wetsuits... Go jump in with a heater shirt and underarmor compression shorts for under boardshort insulation. That's what a real man would do... And then their dad wouldn't let them climb back onto the jetski and force them to be dragged 100 feet through the 45 degree water back to the dock at one mile per hour... Frosty. Best spring break ever though... Minus last year when I got to kiss a stingray. Yes I'm enough of a jackass to say that stuff above. Yes I love driving in the point of not wearing a wetsuit...

He is going to ride Jr. Mens one tour, and I'm giving the Toe Jam a try, so we both need desperatly to improve our rail skills. lol

i was in cancun last week (not SB, just a vacation) and i found a guy who rents out his SUPRA LAUNCH. well, i get there and the supra is down for whatever reason. then he says, i have a mastercraft thats running. im game, i get there and its a 80s model 190 w/ no weight or boom. im no boat snob, but i wasnt about to pay $150/hr for that set up. needless to say i didnt get a ride. i rented a harley davidson instead.
