But finally landed a w2w yesterday. Going out tomorrow to try again. The two guys in the boat dont really skate but were hooting and hollering none the less. Almost landed them back to back but had to stop to get to work and i was pretty beat up after like 12 attempts in 15 minutes.

There's no where in that article that says that guy was wakeskating...I don't know who came up with that - it seems highly unlikely. That is a good question though, how did that guy get out of his boot with a mangled foot.
Body position and rope position are key coming in toeside. CHARGE!!!

NUTS! That is awesome you can W2W. I just bought a skate, and after trying a couple of 1 wake jumps I was demolished.

I owe you some pulls at the least for the help with boat purchasing. Let me know when is good!

Bobby, just try short progressive cuts and when the board reaches its peak, puch it down hard. Do that a bunch of times and before you know it you'll be landing 3/4 of the way across the wake. then you're ready to try it.

That's how I learned toeside.

This isn't a great example cause he really isn't that hard on his toes (due to the thigh high wake) and has the rope out with his arm dragging cause he's about to grab the board, but it's one of the only pics I have on this computer of a toeside approach.

I have both hands on almost all the way into the wake and am a little more over the toes. The mistake most people make is coming off the toes before getting to the wake and you balance will be toward your heels. Try to stay on your toes all the way up and through the wake keeping the board under you as you cross the wake. Lay it down and go for it just keep the rope in tight so you have some play once you leave the wake.
