Hey guys thought yas might be interested to see some pics of our winch park being built here at CWC.
The park has been designed by the master himself Mr Pat Panakos(projects).
It is still to be finished & landscaped however we are already started using 2 of the 6 ponds.
The winch system is the sesitec 2.0 mini cable system which was made especially for our park,it is the same as the one used in the Red bull comp recently.
Some mates of mine from Holland are making a short video clip(for Youtube)about it which i can post up tonight if yas are interested.
Ill post up a couple pics & i have many more if yas are interested.

This pond is ready to be filled and obstacles added it has two seperate machines on it with 2 different size concrete stair gaps(one for the big boys & one for the totally crazy ones).
The big one will have a kinked hand rail on it and is absolutely huge, you can see the stairs in the back of the photo then you will ride along and then up some sort of obstacle into 2 different pools & out again. Upload

This is honestly the coolest thing I have ever seen. I say we get a Wakeworld.com trip together for next summer to CWC. What do you think Dave? A year of planning seems like enough time. This place is honestly my Mecca.

I Wanted to make it out there for worlds with Rob but since I broke my leg I am going to have to delay any riding until April so plans are changing. I think I am going to be in florida in May for a couple days of shooting before heading over to the bahamas for my anniversary with my wife. I'll keep you posted on that. As far as dates for the phillies we have been thinking about this time next year since the leg thing.

Hey guys glad yas like it,the next ponds are lookin much much better though!!
Jr the blue stuff is called Hdpe high density poly eurathane the same as what owc has on its obstacles i beleive.
On our cable park i have installed little misters(sprinklers) that keep the plastic wet all day & with this the plastic is perfect for slidin!!
Hey it would be sick if yas wanna organise a group to come here & this time of the year is the quietest as all the europeans come in feb-march.
We will make sure we look after you guys!!

CWC is where its going to be no matter what cable they compete with nothing compares to all the things the offer not to mention the american dollar goes extremely far in the phillies

I just got back from a week and a half trip to CWC and I can guarantee you'll have the time of your lives if you go. There's great accommodation on site, and food etc, so you never have to leave unless you want to :-)
The winch park has to be seen to be believed - it is enormous. I had a go in the first pool that reuben posted pics of and it is one of the scariest things I've ever done (mainly cos I'm guessing I'm allergic to concrete), but it was ridiculously fun!
I'll post up a link to the winch park pics I took later on.

Its proggressing really quickly at the moment,i may test out the lake with the stairs tomoro or in the next couple of days, ill keep yas posted although it wont have any rails on it until Pat gets here(i beleive hes comin soon)& checks it all out again & designs some more crazy stuff.
Some of the wakepark(winch park) is already open by request everyday & will cost you just under $5 at the moment for half a day or until you get tired
The boat lake is up & running we are just finishing laying grass around it at the moment & its really starting to look quite nice.It also has hundreds of tonnes of beach sand getting put around the edge of the lake which looks pretty nice to.
We have 2 russian pros here at the moment who were rippen it up behind the XStar the other day.
Ill post up some more pics in the next couple of days of the pond with the stairs as it is almost totally full.

The first pic was Michael Blank the first to test the stair gap out & then me with a little Hoochie glide.
Here some more pics which show the whole pond & in the last one you can see the grass that we are putting around the ponds & if you look closely you can see the grass moulded seats which have been placed on the banks for spectators...

This may be a stupid question but merely intended to spur conversation. I've been around the industry for a while and granted I don't know all the brands international sales vs. domestic sales, but from my experience you can say roughly 60-70% (or more) of the business is in the US. With that being said - why are there SO many more kick A** places built like this in international markets. I understand there may not be as many outlets to ride behind a boat in other countries but you'd think with our continuously rising gas prices and our capitalistic society there would be many more cable, winch, sesitec, etc... parks created here in the States? I know there are several parks/locations in the works currently but it seems like the guys internationally just go one step further and one step before we do.

I guess that wasn't much of a question - more a thought - Props out to you Reuben and everyone else in the world keeping our sport moving foreword and breaking our dependancy on gas...

haha. i would have never expected to see a glide trick down stairs. haha. seems like wakeboarding down stairs would get boring
