Has anyone had a roller wash over the gunnels yet? I like to weigh my Nautique SuperSport until the rubrail is in the water but am afraid to do so when it's busy. If I dunk the side of the boat into a roller (or two) will it sink the boat?

What is the best method to get out of a bad sitatuion when this happens?

I have plenty of people sitting on the side of the boat to help weight that particular side, and I designate a few of them as "runners" who go back to the other side of the boat to help balance a little when I'm turning around. That way we aren't listing as badly all the time. Once I've pulled up the surfer, the "runners" go to their proper side.

As for what to do if you take on a lot of rollers, have your fat sac pumps ready to help out the bilge pump haha

On top of having the fat sacs ready to empty, it is always easy to dump 400-600lbs of people. Everyone in for a quick swim :-) Always make sure life jackets are availible. I hate to see people drown because they forgot a life jacket in the boat.
