Hey Me and the wife are new to Las Vegas but would like to find a crew to go ride with and hang out. Im a stay at home husband for now so anytime i'll be a third!

A few of us are planning a trip out to lake Mead, from Colorado. Just wondering what the water levels are like and the best place to launch. We were thinking about someplace close to Vegas (play on the lake all day then hit the strip at night). Just looking for suggestions and good places to ride when we head out. Callville bay has finally cleaned up there launch ramp and built another extended one that hasnt opened yet (should soon) but thats where I go hemingway launch area is pretty bad, and I havent been to echo in couple years so Im not sure. Water level is down pretty far, so watch out for unmarked hazards

Hemingway is good during the week, on the weekends it's a fools paradise. If you launch from there head west and go out to the government wash area, usually great riding during the week and when the wind isn't blowing.

Hemingway and Callville are your 2 closet launches to the strip, about 30 miles away.

Devin I got the boat out today and took it for a quick set. Water is about 68 degrees right now. I will call you soon.

Scotty is the hemingway launch area still real shallow?

No not at all, the dock is still on the old pavement area, people are using the new ramp even though there is no dock there.

If all you guys could post up on www.wakelv.com that would be great. the traffic is kinda low right now but a bunch of locals check it out. Me and and guy named Adam took his X2 out on Sunday and had a great ride on the east side of the narrows. I rode in a full suit but he only had on a top and the weather was great even during sun down. give me a call anytime or i'll give him your number and you guys can meet up if I can't make it. Devin
