Looking for a machine shop that can make a skylon defcon v frame.

I have all the pieces except for the frame...any ideas ? Btw, I have the actual dimensions and layout.

Thanks,

Mike

Clubmyke, are you building your own set up like the defcon V? What are you using for mid bass and HLCD's?

currently running 2 defcon 4's and want a single defcon 5 for the center.

i have had really good luck with the beyma 8g40 woofer, selenium 210 ti hlcd, and the Selenium 2V2K/350 crossover - crazy loud and clean

clubmyke, where did you get your speakers? Can you compare them to the Eminence stuff that is found in the NVS?

Kal, will do !! Thanks,

Stephen, non of the drivers used from any tower speaker mfgs (skylon, wetsound, and nvs) compare to the Beyma 8g40 or the Selenium 210 TI. It is so incredibly clean... The only drawback is the weight and the cost of the 8G40. The Beyma weighs approx 7lb and cost $160... The 210 hlcd is pretty reasonable at $32..

Really looking at what is available, the best bang for the buck upgrade would be to replace the crossover and the HLCD with the Selenium 2V2K/350 crossover and the 210 TI hcld. The approximate cost would be $65 - $70 a cabinet or $150 total layout (from parts express).
