Good going scott. Way to pull a Dave on that one. Do you guys not realize why that hasnt been posted? It devalues the footage so much. This was supposed to be kept under wraps just like dannys 1260 at wake awards. Im sure all of Rustys sponsors appreciate it. Espically MC. Congrats buddy.

I don't understand why they would want to keep wraps on something that was landed at a contest. Everyone there saw it, I'm sure someone other than Scott took video of it seeing as how it was at Pro Tour. Everyone knew about hours after it happened so there was nothing hush hush about it. So for any of Rusty's sponsors to be upset about someone posting a video of Rusty's "contest run" would just be plain retarded. If anything Hyperlite and MC should be happy Scott posted the footage because it now gives their brands more exposure out on the web. Plus a 1080 is the new 9 it was not going to win at wake awards so there is no need to get upset over that

I can see why Lee said that. It was Rusty's moment and there are some people that have not posted pictures of that moment.

However, whatever is right or wrong, it was posted and on youtube already. Being a public event like Paul said makes it harder to keep control of the video unlike Danny's 1260 that was done at a non-public event from what I understand.

Way to go Rusty. It was your time and your time to make wakeboarding history. $.02

Right on Rusty. I hope this is the trick of the year at Wake Awards this weekend. Too bad it wasn't at some small double up comp. It would have been a good payback for Danny's "private video" last year. That is if no one else has landed something crazy in private.

Lee, what the •••••••• you talking about? The word went out on Twitter about 5 seconds after it happened by a handful of riders at the event. How can something that takes place at a contest be kept under wraps, ask everybody in attendance not to tell anybody? This has no similarity to what Danny did at all. And how could his sponsors possibly be pissed at the word getting out? Whoever does the Hyperlite Twitter updates was bragging about it along with everyone else.

the news was all over twitter and facebook (including from rustys wife ... just one of many) within 20 minutes of landing. i believe dean smith posted the video 25 minutes after landing with others right after....
pretty hard to keep under wraps....
