Aite guys, I made an offer on a 07 Sanger v215 (privet seller) and he accepted and then backed off... No big deal.... I'm heading out to one more dealer this weekend... What do you guys think of this? Is it a fair price? 2007 SANGER V230 WHITE/BLACK/RED FLAMES: Wake Series II (tripple ballast), chubby tower, depth finder, perfect pass, ultimate stainless steel package, bennet hydraulic wake/trim plate,(4) pull up cleats...Black Scorp Motor, Teak swim Deck No stereo, bimini and cover. OTD - $45,932.50 Let me know what you guys think.... I know i've asked alot of different things on this one post but this is really helping me... it's nice to know that i have cool truthful people to talk to, other then some sales person who just want to sell me a boat.... What's an average cost of a stereo now and days? I don't want tower speakers, just 6 speakers and a 10' sub. Once again thanks!

Kevin, not sure about the deal on the v230 but on craigslist up here in Seattle there was an add from Siglers Marine in Oregon that seemed really good. It was a 2008 V215 for 41k before tax and license. I believe it had triple ballast, PP, nicer tower and some other stuff. It might be worth it to call them and find out.

You'll only really be able to put 4 cabin speakers in the V230 unless you get creative with the bow application. You could probably put the whole system together yourself for around $1200 HU of choice $250 4 polk db651 $160 10" sub and enclosure $250 JBL PS1024 Alpine PDX5 $400 Amp install kit and wiring $100 This is all pretty much online retail pricing. You could save probably $300 shopping on Ebay.

Ok then anything would be better, but what I mean is that the 215 and 210 have much better wakes than the 230. I've heard you can't really get a good wake out of the 230. Am I mistaken, I don't know just asking.

I get a great wake out of my 230... and a great surf wake. So your friend who you heard from just needs to work a little harder.

Haha. If by working hard you mean filling up the sacs then you are too lazy to be on the lake.

I don't have to fill up sacks, all I have to do is flip a switch.

Not that hard for a good wake on the 230, just a bit more weight!

Hey Kevin, did you talk to Tracy Boats? About two weeks ago Eric had a '07 V215 identical in color and graphics with the black scorp, didn't have all the gear but then he was letting it go for $36 or 37K too.

All i have to do is flip a switch too... and a perfect wake appears behind the boat. Modern technology is a great thing.

Razzman....Yea, I've talked to Eric over at Tracy boat couple of times... We really liked the v215 blue with silver flames he has there on the lot, but for a little more I could get this v230 with everything minus the bimini and stereo. DRA... How do you like your v230?

Calvin I thought you were referring to all the extra sacs you had to manually fill to get a perfect wake on that boat .

Don't need anything extra. Although I do have extra sacs. They are plumbed so it's all easy.

Love the 230, however 215 is my favorite. At the time the 230 was the best value, bought it in 04 and it was an 03, and they were currently selling 05's. Space is great & comfortable, but a lot of boat to haul around. Love the Sangers, but then I love the Supra and Nautique also.

Brett - The V230 at Siglers is sold...to us We put money down and signed papers on it a little while ago. We just can't pick it up until we get our current boat sold and out of the garage....which is hopefully this weekend! I am dying to get the Sanger home and get it out on the water! Great looking boat Kevin! Our boat are twins!

sounds good. Did you see that one in Sacramento that is white bottom and top and blue in the middle. Seems like a good price? Not sure about the tower on it though. It is in one of the links rick posted.
