What Hopkins did against a well trained, talented, heavy hitting and youthful opponent was nothing short of amazing. It clearly showed the first fight wasn't a fluke. Compare this fight to the pathetic Foreman / Moore matchup and what Hopkins did is an even bigger accomplishment.
That said, i still wouldn't put him up there as one of the greatest of all time. Heck, I'm a huge RJJ fan and always will be but I wouldn't put him up there either. Very few fighters can elevate to the status lighter fighter elite like Duran, Chavez, Sweet Pea, Hearns and Sugar Ray. I think both Mayweather and Paqman will be inclusive of the elite legends class some day but Roy and Hopkins never had the epic battles against top flight fighters in their prime like the them.
