friend just bought a 1999 moomba outback, just woundering what people do to make the wake rockin. Any info on the wake would be appreciated

Hopefully it has a wakeplate on it but if not you can still throw a decent wake. Put a rear bench fatsac ballast (or something similar) and a center ballast on each side of the engine. My buddy has the same set up and with enough weight he can get his pretty clean wake and come close to my stock LSV.

is that about 2000 lbs total that he puts in?

I think it is closer to 1500 so its all about distribution in the boat. We always ride with 4 guys so that helps too.

Two 750's, one on either side of the engine, 450 in the walkway. Makes it ride low so watch for rollers!

I had a 98 mobius dd. I ran a fat seat in the back, 1000 -1250 lbs. Side sacks that were 500 each on sides of engine, and then we had about 400-500 lbs of people weight in the front. And maybe someone beside the spotter or sitting on the fat seat. It was pretty nice. Would take somewater over the front so be carefull.
