You've probably already made plans to attend 2012's biggest west coast wakeboarding event, CIE Spring Ride. Now WakeWorld has gotten involved with this one-of-a-kind festival-style event by sponsoring the pro double-up competition!

The WakeWorld Double-Up Comp, which was won by Randall Harris in 2011, will feature top pros battling for a pile of cash. Previous Spring Ride double up comps have featured Florida riders like Andrew Adkison, Phil Soven, JD Webb and Jimmy LaRiche. You can also expect west coast regulars like Ricky G., Josh Twelker, Randall Harris, Derek Cook and Jason Callen to represent the left coast. Be sure to make your way to Lake Tulloch to meet the pros and watch an amazing competition. Check the video below toCIE Spring Ride see how it blew up last year.

CIE Spring Ride will take place at the Lake Tulloch Resort in Copperopolis, California on May 4-6. The event will kick off Friday night with a party in the waterfront bar. Game time begins Saturday morning where spectators can meet their favorite pro riders just before the WakeWorld Double-Up Comp begins. Last year, country music's Jake Owen even made an appearance, so you never know what celebs might stop by!

CIE Spring Ride Best Trick Winner - Randall HarrisEvery year, the CIE Spring Ride attracts more than a thousand wakeboarders from all over the country to ride, meet new peeps, celebrate the start of the new season and watch their favorite big-leaguers charge double-ups for cash. For the last seven years running, the Spring Ride has hosted the biggest professional wake venue in California. For 2012, Spring Ride is your only chance to see the pros compete in California.

The Lake Tulloch Resort offers waterfront accommodations with boats slips, boat ramps, dining and a waterfront bar. Spectators can enjoy the show from the grassy peninsula and outdoor poolside cabana.

CIE SpringRide is made possible by CIE Wakeboarding, Malibu Boats, WakeWorld, Boat Country of Escalon, Hyperlite, CWB Board Co., Phalanx, Chucktronics, Twisted Candi, Wakeroots Ride Shop, FrontSide Films and CIRE Boardshorts.

Reservations opened February 1, 2012. Please call (209) 785-8200. For general information and event sponsorship, call (510) 931-9895. For double-up contest information call (925)413-6645.

If you're wondering what you'll be missing if you don't show up to the 2012 CIE Spring Ride, check this video from the 2011 event...
