Just curious how the lakes are looking after the last couple of storms. Mendicino, Shasta, Berryessa, Trinity. etc.

Well Mendo is launchable now and the barriers are removed, however it is full of wood. I talked to a fisherman who was loading up and he said it was the worst hes ever seen it. Usually its just small wood pieces and what not but right now there are large logs everywhere. Its scary looking even from the shore.

Lake Shasta lake level is at 959 ft measured on Jan 18th 2008, lake level at full pool is 1067. So Shasta is still 100ft down. It has come up little by little but I'm not getting my hopes up for a full lake this year.

Here is a website that tracks daily reservoir storage for the Nor Cal lakes.
