I got the more rare type of injury... MCL strain. I am in a fixed brace @ 30 degrees flexion for the next 2 weeks.

My left heel came up ~ 3 inches out of footbed of my bindings and my left knee did the "knee knocking" movement. At that point I knee something was wrong. To top it off, this was the knee I had repaired last December for some patella damage.

I wish I could say I was going toe side into a fat raley, but the truth is I was learning how to jump off the wake from transition to the flats.

This will teach me to tighten my laces after every crash.

Don't feel too bad..it can happen to anyone doing anything out there. Just last week I tweeked my knee and my ankle pretty good on a TS180. I thought for sure I tore something in my knee, but it seems to be doing ok. No pain or anything; just a bit sore. It wasn't a bad fall or anything just the way my body was positioned when I hit the water. I rode pretty hard today, and it felt fine. Knock on wood... Heal fast and get after it!!... Cheers..

Thats not a rare injury, but it is painful. My understanding is that it heals on its own
