Well, it is done. I no longer am the proud owner of a 2001 Malibu Wakesetter VLX......I handed the pink slip over on Saturday afternoon!

Instead, I am now the very anxious future owner of a beautiful 2004 Malibu Wakesetter VLX. I can hardly wait to see it!

I was too excited not to share the news, but unfortunately I don't have a picture to post. It should be ready by the end of the month so I will post a picture when I get one!!!

Of course you know what a great boat the VLX is! I'm in the same boat as you righ now (pun intended). My Super Air SHOULD be ready next week, but who knows about any unforseen delays. At first I was kind of glad to be boatless, gave me an opportunity to get some work around the house done, but that lasted for about 2 weeks. If it doesn't get here soon, I'll be in need of a good therapist!

Christopher - It might even include some salsa & dip for that bag of chips

Rene - I'm sure there will be less people willing to go out by the time I get it as the weather/waters cool down. I'll let you know when it is broken in and ready to pull riders!

Jeff - Congrats on your new boat too!! The next week is going to seem like an eternity, huh???
