Leaving out of Wahweap 7/7-14 next week and plan to travel up to (beyond) Dangling Rope ? Possibly Oak Creek ? Trying to get a feel for the amount of houseboat gas (59ft Discovery xl) that we will burn. First trip there and we want to spend more time boarding and on the beach than moving around (3) houseboats and burning gas. Looking to get upriver far enough to use Dangling Rope for the (3) tow boat gas needs (hoseboats have pumps).} Comments about the area between Last Chance and Oak Creek would also be helpful.
