When out riding today, my buddy completely ripped the boot off the plate molded into the bottom of his rear boot, not the base plate but the actual plastic plate in the boot... only 2nd time on them and we are headed for WCC tomorrow and this happens... anyone else have this problem?

I did a tantrum out into the flats and landed kind of tail heavy. Found out that the rear bindings' base cracked right in half.
