looks like mastercraft will be going with an aluminum picklefork hull and an outboard powerplant for 06. i hear the wake is exceptional.

interesting you choose to pick on MasterCraft when some other companies don't do anything?

yeah played out IMO. That boat is hilarious but it's been on here quite a few times, and bashing on one company is not the greatest idea.

Get this in Minnesota this summer I actually did a photo shoot for Premier Ponoons, they are making a hugh 34 deck boat that has a tower on it. To make the wake filpable (which is all they wanted us to do) we had to put 3 fatsacs on it and fill the inside of the "deck" with like 200gallons of water. On top of that we had to ride a 60 foot line. It was so funny. But they provided a bunch of hot chicks which was a plus. I will put a link up one they put up their 2005 site, so everyone can laugh.

Since two boats make a huge spline (sp?) wake thats great for surfing -- I wonder if a pontoon boat could make a great surf wake?

Quit crying, he was just joking. He more than likely decided to choose Mastercraft because they have a hull similar to a pontoon's. Not to take away from it, but seriously get a life and relax. No one was trying to trash your beloved Mastercraft.

hey kids, sorry....wasn't trying to bash mastercraft, just thought it would be a decent joke as a play on the picklefork hull. also didn't realize this boat had been posted before, i took this picture at a dealership here in kc the other day. sorry, from now on i'll only put up serious posts. and for the record, i love mastercraft's wake.

I found the original post quite entertaining and the negative comments annoying. Quit being babies.

There is nothing wrong with the X-star. It has a great wake and is a really well made boat, like all of Mastecraft's boats. That still doesnt mean we cant make fun of the 'new' design. I am not going to buy one, I would rather have the x-2.

prestone, yeah, it can be hard to find good water. there are some big coves near our place that are decent in the mornings and late evenings. party cove is decent during the afternoon.
