What do you think is better?

Do you use shoes on a soft top board?

Thanks, scott

I have grip tape on my Kampus Swing skate. I prefer the grip tape over foam. I feel I have more control of the skate. Definitely go with the 3Thirteen Bling shoes.

The foam is great for other people who may go out with you because they may not have shoes with them. With grip tape you need shoes.

I've ridden both and I go with the tape and shoes. I just got an old pair of Vans. I think the response is better with the tape because the foam absorbs pressure without transmitting it to the board.

I ride a foam top. Mainly because I dont want to mess with shoes. But I have never ridden tape...

chris, couldn't the same thing be said about the soles of the shoes absorbing force?

I wear shoes, mainly cause i have seen photos of people's toes sliced mostly off by the fins.

i went with grip, only because it was less money, the one they had in stock, and it will give me better control.
