What a colossal tragedy.

We generally perceive ourselves to be the "good guys." How do we fix this?

Can't fix it. Place is a mess and will always be a mess. People who don't value life have no place in society. No matter how much you do,give,or donate it will not change anything.

It's war dude - there is a segment of our society (and worse - our economy) that always wants war - they make money off it.

The US invading Iraq will go down as the single biggest blunder of the 21st century - 100x worse than Vietnam.

When the US had a rubber shortage in WWII an American chemist built on work from German scientists to develop synthetic rubber.

Given the proper motivation we could find an alternative to oil - we just haven't seen it yet.

We shot up a doctors without borders hospital. How do doctors who volunteer to treat civilian pops "not value life"???? 12 MSF medical staff, ten patients. 3 of them children.

Or are you saying we should vigorously prosecute the C-130 gunship crew?

War is war. I don't like it either but it is war. It's easy to Monday morning quarterback from your living rooms. It's like #black lives matter. You pick the events that suit your agenda while ignoring others. Be consistent or shut the F up.

Our Military and it's leaders understand that their will be CD in any conflict. They try to avoid it with Field intelligence but sometimes they get it wrong or the equipment either malfunctions or doesn't work as prescribed. It is a sad instance nonetheless.
