Are there any real differences between these two bindings?

I'm not positive but I think the only difference between the 07s and the 08s are cosmetic. The 09s have a new baseplate among other things and are supposedly 2 lbs lighter per pair. I got a good deal on a pair of 07s at the beginning of the season and love them.

08's are lighter and built better
somewhat more comfy
my 07's ripped apart

but
my 07's are closed toed and hurt my wide foot

I rode them for a month and am willing to sell them
let me know if you want me to figure a price

What size are they and what size shoe do you wear?

I wear a 10
my 08's are 10-11, so I'm pretty sure that these are too

they changed the plate on the 08s from the 07s. They have a plate that also runs front to back to help prevent heal lift. You can read about it here. http://liquidforce.com/bindings_watson-ot.htm

I have a pair of 08's on the way cause I finally trashed my 07 transits that I got this spring.

There is a big difference IMO. I went from 06s to 08 CT and the extra support and and comfort really was shocking to me. The 08s have a new liner, the liquid liner 2. The footbed is a lot softer and moldable than before as well. I noticed they fit better much better side to side too. The changes are not just cosmetic + new plate.

Except that, the 08 are a lot comfortable than the 07!!! Great boots with a conception problem!!!! Slingshot D2 are the best!!!

So what's more comfortable, the D2's or Watson's? I think I am ordering a new setup tomorrow and hopefully it will be here by labor day! I'm kinda also interested in the Slingshot Response. I'm coming from a HL Motive and am working on w2w's. I probably don't need a new board. But I want one and I have the money for it.
