Hello to all on the board, this is my first post...

I had a chance to try wakeboarding this past summer and loved it. So I had to get me a boat! I just sold my old 70 vintage glastron so I could pick up an 2006 Malibu Wakesetter 21XTi. The price is 46G (+prep and tax) and I am scheduled to sign the papers and pick up the boat on 10/20.

The 21Xti has the following options:
Monsoon 340 motor
Power Wedge and MLS
Sony MP3 Deck
Fiberglass swim deck

and a few more...

Does this price sound about right?

Ken-
Welcome and congrats on the new ride...not many folks from LG on the board. By the way I was at Anderson last Monday afternoon, and it was incredible. Hope the weather holds for you maiden voyage.

Congrats on the new boat. Hopefully the ramp at Anderson won't be too bad this weekend. Post some pics after your first voyage!!

I am getting the boat from Ultimate Water Sports off Hwy 880 near 101. It was the last of the 06 Xti's they had, hence the damn good deal.

I think with the trailer the whole thing stickered at 60K, so I don't feel so bad forking out 46K.

Posting a 'I just got a boat' thread and not having a picture is a huge party foul on this site.

Just kidding, but get some pics up.

So I just signed the paperwork today. Took some real quick pics. Will take some more on Friday morning when I am at Anderson Res.

Final price on the boat was 41,500 and trailer 4,500 + tax. So not a bad deal.

dang Ken, you stepped up. Didn't you know that this wakeboarding thing is just a fad?

Put that beauty in the garage and sleep in it tonight. Just let that new boat smell waft all over you. Congrats!

I like the grey accents instead of black that most people get. Looks real nice!

That is a smoking deal considering that is almost exaclty what I paid for my 2005 XTi in June of 2005, with no power wedge.

I have power wedge envy.

Ken, nice boat. Have fun with that. Love the power wedge too btw.

why not a 23xti dog?

They did not have anymore 06 23's. So I could not get the same kind of deal.

It all came down to dough. I'm just happy I have a direct drive boat now.
