Missing Spring Ride Items

Hey Spring Riders:

We came home from the Spring Ride missing a couple of items, so I'm hoping all of our new friends can help us out here.

Someone must have accidentally taken home two new CIE banners. We crawled out of our rooms Sunday morning to find them removed and missing. They are brand new vinyl banners with the 2006 CIE logo and they weren't cheap. I know there are a few mean, local rednecks up there too. It's possible that someone removed them and threw them away.

Also, I set down the DPC Films' bull horn during the raffle in the bar and completely forgot about it. It's solid red and has DPC stickers all over it. This item also never made it home with us.

Lastly, we left a boat cover at the resort. If anyone is going to or from the Tulloch Resort anytime soon, we could really use a courier to help us get it home, or to Ski World.

damn....that sucks. Sounds like what we awoke to at every event during the old GoWakin.com days. It made me and Landon so pissed because like J-Rod is saying, they aren't cheap and takes some time to cut, peel, and lay the baner the way you like em. I hope they are recovered. On the note about the local rednecks. I can say that last year I had purchased a brand new four hundred dollar floating cabana island thingy. I left it in the pool over night. When we woke up Sunday it was flat. I thought maybe there was a leak at the valve. When we got down there it was slashed to pieces. I mean someone didnt just give it a jab. They took out some agression on this poor floating island. Must have been a hundred stabs and slashes. I was so mad I left it in the pool and told the front desk they could take it out if they wanted to. The redneck we saw that nite was spinning his lady like crazy. He was tall. Had lighter color hair. Look familiar? yeah thats what I thought has soon as I saw this guy this year. He look like he had lifted weightes and gotten bigger. I immediately told my buddies from the previous year.. They say it couldnt be the same person. I probably am mistaken. Anyway CIE i hope you get your stuff back because the event was flawless and drama free. Having things taken is not cool at all.

J-Rod, if you call the hotel and they have it there I can pick it up NEXT weekend (4/21/06).......if that helps...

OUCH bro, that hurts.... as Joe said, drop a line to the hotel to see if anyone turned the bullhorn or boat cover to the front desk... As for the banners, wish ya the best of luck on those, I am hoping for the best....
