gunna go ahead and pull the trigger on new bindings

I will send my watson open toe in for warranty repair....but in the mean time....

what do yall think
watson close toe
or shane close toe?

It's all preferance(the footbed and construction is the same.

Watson=stiff
Shane=flexible

i like the shanes, the watsons are a little stiff for me personally

luv my watsons...but i haven't tried the shanes... but i like stiff after hurting the ankle

I didn't think there was much difference when I tried both on, flip a coin. I got tails and went with the Shanes.

think I'm gunna stay with Watsons...but go with closed toe

I like my Shane bindings. They are really comfortable but will not come off if you fall.

man you just missed it on ebay! they seriously had all sizes between 3 shanes, 3 watsons all CT no reserve starting at 20$ and the guy had great rep and everything.... they ended up at like $150...

i saw those. I missed out on a pair of the limited Shanes that went for around $150

I really love my Shane(more flexible than the Watson). I was the kind of guy who liked stiffer bindings but not anymore!!! I prefer to trust my calfs and tibial muscles to do the job!!! If you need flexibility, you got it and if you don't, asked your muscles!!! I pretend it because I tried the 3D'S 2006(stiff) this summer and it was hard to put some extra style in my grabs, and it impose a body position... really uncomfortable!!!
The only thing with my Shane is it doesn't look tough at all!!! The material used for the inside ripped up after few rides and it keep going!!!
Except this, it's a perfect binding!!!
PS. It come off when you fall but not for no reason!!!!
