the 09 One works really nicely for air tricks as does the JStar Lidberg.

Nick Davies has a pro-model coming out really soon, I would put my money on that being really good.

I do air tricks with ease on my SS but ride it finless as the cable, so getting on a super hard edge quickly while going through chop is a pain....

something with good molded fins is what you'll need.

Josh Wright goes big on a slingshot. My guess would be that tuning the edges and getting it to sit deeper would help a lot

There is about 7 different Liquid force boards that are perfect for cable.
For air tricks u want a fast board & something that holds a good edge.
Ive owned over 50 boards and my favourite is between the witness & the new S4,also the ps3 substance.
The witness holds a great edge & is very fast but u can still slide it around & LF doesnt put ugly big fins like other board companys put on there boards that catch on everything when u wanna go sideways or on rails.

I would say SLINGSHOT is an all around good cable board for air tricks and sliders, plus they hold up well to all the abuse

i really like the new jstar lidberg board for air tricks. next to that id say the LF witness is probably one of the best shapes for the cable all around (especially air tricks).

yes...Josh Wright throws down huge difficult air tricks on a SS. I did a few air tricks on a SS, but it takes some getting used to.

My favorite board for cable is the LF Shane. Tracking and speed to me, are most important for throwing huge air tricks...the shane has both. Also binding play a factor. Since you're laying down on a hard edge you want bindings with no toe lift to achieve the hardest cut possible. I found the SS D2's to be the best.

I like my old Hyperlite Premier for the cable hold, load, and keeps an edge with out the center fin nicely.

I loved the liquid force trip, It's a fairly loose board but it holds tight enough and the shape is just straight up awesome and has probably the smoothest fastest ride of any board out there.
