Hey guys I was just posting for some advice. I am currently in the process of getting a new boat. Right now my eyes are towards the 07 Sanger V215 because of the price we have been offered fully loaded. Now I am heading to the Supra dealer thursday and going to check things out but I have been pushed back and forward with what's better to go with. The Supras are a 21V and 22SSV 2006 models. Now I also have been looking at two used boats around the same price range. A 2003 Malibu waksetter(170 hours) and X2(210 hours). All boats are fully loaded. So please let me hear your opinions. Thanks

I looked at and drove many boats and picked a Sanger because it did what I wanted it to better than anything else, including the Supra and Malibu. It was nice that it also cost less.
All those boats are good and they will drive differently. Test drive what you can and try to ride behind them if you can. What you feel will be different than what we might say.
I assume the two older boats are cheaper by a fair bit.

with the used boats you have no warranties. between the used boats i would go with the malibu. i'm just not a big fan of mastercraft. with the new boats i would go with one of the supra's. i've never riden behind or been in a 22ssv but have spent many days in the 21v. the 21v is a very solid boat. i'm not a fan of the sangers not trying to trash them but from my experence with them they just seem like they aren't as quality as the other boats out there. they fit what some people are looking for in a boat but just not me. me 2 cents.

hey guys thanks for the advice its kind of cold and about to rain but we are planning on test driving the sanger on saturday. The older boats are cheaper but a warranty means a lot. Here are the prices. I am going to try and negotiate with the Supras tommorow to drop the price (it is winter).

2007 Sanger $40,000 (MSRP $46,000)
2006 Supra 21v $44,000
2003 Malibu Wakesetter $32,000
2003 Mastercraft X2 $35,000

more advice welcome

What options on Sanger V215? Many shades of gray when a dealer says fully loaded. Sanger has tons of options and if MSRP is 46,000 it cant be (fully loaded) Supra makes a good boat one thing to look at is Supra is a year older than Sanger. Might be able to get better deal on Supra due to the fact that it is 2 years old.

Is the warranty worth an extra 10 to 12k?(the warranty will most likely be up before it is actually needed)
here is a beauty,

There are a few of those out here in az. Or you can spend 45k on a malibu and get an 05 or 06. (I like them myself)

Malibu Wakesetter is myy favorite boat of all time. Supra 21V throws a nice wake. Not tons of storage i found. Dude check out a 04 or 05 vlx wakesetter you can find them right in around the 43,000 mark.
