I was out last week and was heeling out in the flats. While admiring the butter I was on, I saw a snake on the surface of the water directly in front of me. My fear of snakes kicked in and I kicked up my biggest ollie yet over the snake.

I was just curious if anyone else has ollied a snake or other live obstacles.

these are great. the friend talking in the video was killing me.

slalom bouys everytime i go out. and one time a dead 8 foot alligator. it was rotting on my neighbors beach for a couple of weeks. he wrapped a string around it and tied that to half a cinderblock. then he asked me if i could pull it to the middle of the lake and drop it. of course it floated. and it smelled so rank about 30 yards away :-)

My friend ollied a massive goose once. He did it too soon and landed right on its head and neck. When it came up from under the water its neck was like stuck at a 45 degree angle. I felt bad for it lol...

mostly caution/idle bouys...but i ollied the insides of a bridge that's being built the other day...kinda weird to look down at all the metal rods coming out of the water as you jump over them (it was the metal "skeleton" of on of the bases to the bridge)

Wow, sounds like I am the only snake jumper so far. We see snakes on our lakes here in Arkansas all the time. We have to make a drive through our pulling areas to scan for snakes before we start. None of use want to be the one that floating around with a snake while the boat comes back to pick us up...

The deer ollies have amused me most. I would love to try that.

a police boat during the "bridge to bridge" event in downtown sac. There were cop boats all over, and they were stoping traffic for us. I thought "well, i might not get this opportunity again." so I cut out and jumped over their stern, and got really close to a cop in the boat. got them all wet. they were cool about it though...fist pumping and all.

I bet if it was any other situation they would pull out thier guns and shoot me.

I ollied a snake last year, I thought it was a stick floating and went to ollie it and when I got there it scared me pretty bad. I too had my biggest ollie that day, then made sure not to fall. :-)

My sister in a kayack. Came around to make a second pass and before I could some "heros" in a fishing boat cut in front of me to "save" her. Thought I was just tormenting some poor little girl. I get a lot of puzzled looks from them. Why is he starting on top of that boat house? Why is he strapped into a wakeboard, standing on a skateboard, on top of two picnic tables, on a dock? Guess they just don't get it.
