My husband is working on hs bs 180. He can spin it, land it but has trouble with the handle pass. Any advice?

Thanks

On HSBS 180s i think of having 3 options:
1)Land wrapped (the easiet trick to land wrapped, and probably best way to learn wrapped landings)
2)Pass early (when I pass early, I like to pass really low, under the butt even. this gives you time to grab after the pass)
3)Pass late (just about when landing. it isnt as important to pass low when you pass late because you wont have to worry about getting pulled off axis. If you pass late, grab early, you can hold a grab almost the whole way through if you pass late enough)

Slow the boat down to 15-18mph, and do surface bs 180's inbetween the wakes. This will help him get comfortable with the handle-pass.

After that, go through your normal graduation ladder...

1. Surface
2. Olly
3. Inside-out
4. One wake (might want to skip this one for this particular trick)
5. Two wakes
