Curious to see what people would say is the best to buy if you were looking for nothing else but a good surf wave, not concerned about interior, wakeboard wake, other types of performances at all, just getting the best wave for surfing.

Isn't the Enzo supposed to be the best for surfing?

If only they got about 20 or 200lb+ people on one side, that thing might throw a sick wake... :-)

The Nati 220 with just stock ballast has a fantastic starboard surfwake. This is just stock ballast and 4-5 peeps. I cant imagine adding more weight. The Enzo's also have great surfing wakes but require alot more ballast IMO

I think the X-45 is as good as any wake out there personally. I have tons of pics... ;-)

How are Tige surfwakes? Comparable to any of the other boats, if it's weighted right it'll be good?

The Wakecraft surf wake with standard ballast and and either a 500# sack in lockers or about 4-5 in the boat and both wakes are surfable at the same time. Throw all the extra weight to one side (either one) and then its stupid huge. Anyone around Cent-Northern Cal is welcome to give it a shot, just let me know.

Chris H- I've been riding behind my friends all summer and it destroys my sacked out 06 VLX. This is just with its stock starboard ballast. Put more weight on top of 220 and it I think it would put out a better surf wake then an Enzo. The port side is not quite as nice as the starboard but still very nice.

Yeah...I'm with JL, I like that Enzo surf wake. I am quite fond of my older Tige - it's an '03 23V. I have yet to see a "great" surf wake on the new RZ/Ve hulls.

I also like the Avy surf wake.

The wake behind that new Tige RZV or what model we had on the news shoot was weak , soft and close to the boat we had to drive in circles to help it out we have never done that behind a Calabria or Enzo the Tige was a 24' pickle fork

MB Sports B-52 throws a killer wave stock.
Little more weight and a few people and it's great. It's easy too, since there are just two big ballasts on each side.. you just fill one.

The problem we are having with my RZ2 is that the sharp corner on the swim platform cuts into the water and leaves messes with the wave. We can get the height on it but the pocket is max 15'.

Here are some shots my buddy e mailed me of a new Tige RZ4. I wasn't there but he said it had no ballast, 10 people in the boat. 3 in the bow, 6 on one side and driver.

My new RZ4 is being built. I will post some pics up as soon as I hit the water.

the point on the swim deck does get into the wave a little. just enough to annoy you. its not that bad. the surf wave on my 22ve was killer. one of the best i've surfed.
