Can't see many Galaxy fans shedding any tears for him.

have to feel bad for the guy. he has been working his tail off just for an opportunity to play for England for one last tourney. loses it all on the pitch without even getting tackled or anything.

as for the Galaxy, it did not matter much. I am pretty sure the MLS made their ROI on him with all of the ticket sales and merch sales.

As much as I dont really follow (or care about) soccer, I can see how that would be increadably frustrating. Any injury that prevents you from doing something you love after you put that much work into it would be heartbreaking. I am slightly afraid of injuring myself to the point where i couldnt wakeboard/snowboard/bike/run/do anything.

I am recovering from that exact injury. In short, it sucks. I am seven weeks out of surgery, and have been able to walk in a CAM boot for about the last three weeks. PT starts next week.

That was his last WC too. There is no way he is playing in Brazil for the 2014 games. Honestly this may be a blessing for England, his pace isn't what it used to be, and especially in the first leg of their Champions league game against Man U, he looked almost lost. England has so much depth they wont even notice, however I do feel terrible for the man.

In brighter injury news, Clint Dempsey made his first appearance since his Knee injury last week, and Charlie Davies is going to be playing again next month for Sochoux. If Gooch can get healthy, Nesta is out for the season, and surely he can take Nesta's place.

I ruptured my achillies in 2004. Didn't walk for three months. Sucks ass.
