I honestly feel bad for kids coming up in the industry. Harley has set the bar at an extraordinary height. And the minimum isnt far behind that. Its a good thing for sure. with thing like this, and really good riders becoming a dime-a-dozen these days, its going to be interesting to see new pros coming up.

Harley's dad didn't actually confirm this is the trick- just that AA hasn't landed it.

So until I see it, I don't believe it, as I have no idea that the MUPPET who called it has any credibility.

I mean I coulda told you he did a switch mobe 1440 to blind judge, and how would anyone know any better?

not to throw anybody of but there are a couple of riders who have tricks that havent been done by others Trevor Hansens double backroll of the wake, Bob's double front roll to fakie of the double up, these guys are definatley in the running for oakley trick of the year

Didn't we all click on this thread to find out what trick it was? It wasn't fair for people to be like "Whoa! That is so freaking amazing what he did! We can't tell you, but it is sooo super amazing! Don't you wish you knew too? Its so amazing!!!" I can't believe people are taking shots at him because he wasn't juvenile enough to be like "I know something you don't know! Do da! Do da!" OH wait, yes, I can believe it cuz I've been on the forum for a while.

Besides, I don't think he's gonna win Move of the Year with that. Sick trick tho Harley!

you have some good points, but the point is Harley did anyone to know. I have been talking with Harleys Dad Bill a lot lately, when something else epic goes down this wont happen again, and Harley is working on a few epic tricks.

This is just getting ridiculous. it seems like almost every thread on here just gets ruined by snobs and Almighty know-it-alls bickering back and forth about who's right. Its a pathetic way to represent wakeboarding. It almost makes me not want to be active on this forum anymore with all the negativity and "know-it-alls". Half the time it sounds like a bunch of fourth-graders fighting over who's lunch box is cooler. Ridiculous. My 12 yr old brother is more mature than some of the blown up egos on here. With that being said, congrats to Harley and can't wait to see a vid of it! I'm sure he'll pump out another new trick in the next week or two, with his dad saying how he's trying them for ten days straight.

I love how the people who are upset are the ones who were saying "i know something you don't know" two days ago. Hopefully incidents like this will make folks keep these new tricks under wraps so I(we) don't have to come on here and wade through that elementary garbage.

Why is everyone hating on "Ben Daniels"? People were speculating what the trick was, and you had a few guys saying they knew what it was. Not trying to bash anyone, but if those guys knew, I can almost guarantee most of the pro's already knew. Harley wanted to keep it a secret, but too many people knew what the trick was.

Regardless, secret or not, Harley is straight ripping it. He has a few tricks that could be the Move of the Year.

HOWEVER.

Harley may be the most talented rider in wake, ever. But it is so hard to say because times change and at one point it was Byerly, and Nelson, then Gator and Zane, then Murray and Adkison, then Rusty and Rathy. But right now - man - Harley is just incredible, like-able, contrite, modest - and KILLING IT.
