Any word or the wise out there or closed boots to look at? I have CWB's Vapers and they only have 2 sizes S/M L/XL, have the L and they are loose. Small are too small, so I am looking to get a true size boot. I tried out the Company closed toe which was great (Randell Harris was on boat). Any thoughts?

LF, Ronix, and Gator all have really nice closed toes. Slingshot has a nice line up as well, they aren't the most comfortable for my foot shape though. Try a bunch on and see what feels good for you.

if you're checking out the CTs, definitely try on some Hyperlite Audios. http://www.hyperlite.com/product/149408/audioboot/_/Audio

The faction boot would be a good upgrade from your vapor. Inexpensive, true sizing, and a solid boot.

the ones are a great fitting ct boot, easy in/out good flex points and a nice fit, also heat molded. i rock the cells, one of the stiffest boots out there, they feel like a snowboard boot.

+1 for the Factions. That is what I ride, and I love'em. I used to ride a CT, but since I broke my toe, and have now gone back to the OT. Open toe all the way baby!!

Just got the 09 ones. I had the 07 Cells which I thought were great. I wear a size 12 shoe but my bindings are 11 for the Ronix Ones. They fit amazing. The new baseless technology is great absolutely no heal or toe lift. They also can fit on any board. They come with spacer extensions.

i tightened them down as much as I possibly could because the last few times my toe was getting smashed into the front. Landed hard Saturday and the toe just smashed into the front of the binding and broke it. I haven't done the x-rays yet but there's no doubt it's broken. Anyway, that's it for the Answer CT for me. I did ride a buddy's Murray CT's and never had any instance of my toe getting smashed into the front.

I have CT issues, also. But mine are from TS inverts, landing hard. Before that I loved them. So if you are a free style guy, or land mostly on your heels, or gently on your toes...CT are fine, otherwise I'd make sure you have good instep holdback like on your snowboard boots

I like closed toes when water is cooler, but prefer open toe.
