I know.. another question about the handle pass. So here's my story.

I'm going wake to wake with a clean hs bs 3. The only issue is I'm not passing the handle. I've tried a hs fs 3 but decided to focus on the bs 3 since it's more comfortable for me.

First question is if the fs 3 is a better first 3 to learn or should I stick with the bs 3?

Second, how can I get the handle pass over. I'm not sure that i'm pulling hard enough or if I'm just not edging right. Either way, I need some help to get this trick.
Thanks for the help!

Learn a HSBS 180 first, that'll teach you the handle pass. When you've got that solid, move on to the HSBS 360. It's a very simple progression to the HSBS 360 if you've learned the HSBS180 already.

I just re-read you post and you seem to be more concerned with the handle pass than anything else. WHat I did years ago to get the muscle memory for hamdle passes was to take a spare handle and tie a weight to the end (no rope, just the handle) and stand on the ground and swing it around my body. This gives you 1000x more practice with handle passes than you get on the water. Trampoline training helps immensely too. Good luck!
