My tower speakers are making a whining noise even if the stereo is off. My head unit does not have anyway to hook an Ipod up to it and was wondering what a good head unit is, I am not into all the hard core sounds, just like to hear the music when i am riding.

If you are just looking for the ability to hook up and Ipod to the head unit i would get the Alpine ida-x100m.

If you only want to play your Ipod and don't need a head unit then get a Wetsounds WS420. It will alow you to control the inboat speakers and the tower speakers seperatly.

It will also give you a mic to talk to the rider.
