Being a newbie, it seems kind of hard to determine which of the Slingshot models are better suited for beginners and which are way above my pay grade. They seem to be priced close. Is the Lyman a lot more difficult to ride than the Response? And what about the Kine & Reflex? I see more of these in my size online. Slingshot does not have a lot of Michigan dealers and none near me so I'm going to have to take a flyer on this rather than demo. Anybody have any opinions/experience with these?

Appreciate the help guys. While our season is winding down, my enthusiasm is high so I want to make a decision. I didn't buy one in the spring and now I'm kicking myself.

I personally feel that of those four boards the Kine is the "easiest to ride. It is a good mix between loose and locked in soft landings and good pop. I love the feel of the reflex though it is really fun to ride. But is takes a few sets to get used to how loose it is.

So I have ridden 2012 Newton a lot and was thinking about getting the 2013 Newton but then my friend suggested the Hooke. I know the Hooke is the 3 stage and the Newton continuous but other than that can anyone give me any info to point me towards one board or the other. Thanks
