83 Stars and Stripes vs 97 Prostar 190

Anybody know the difference in width and length of these 2 boats?

no, seeing if the guy selling the rest of his Rankin covers might have one that fits the Stars and Stripes. He lists a 97 prostar 190. I know it will be a little big but that can be made up with poles or something to prop the cover up with.

I think the beam is a lot wider

In the 1981 and 78-86 owners manuals the beam is 6'10" or 82in

In the 1995 owners manual the 190 has a beam of 85in. I know the 190 changed in 98, and am pretty sure the 95 is very similar to the 97.

Not as big a difference as I expected. The 81 is 19ft long, the 95 says 19'5".

The 95 should be the same as the 97 so that helps. Not as big of a difference as I thought it would be either. The 83 I have has a ski pylon that is about 8 inches higher than the standard pylon. That in itself might take up the slack. If not I could add a PVC pipe that goes from the top of the pylon back behind the engine cover and down.
