Delta Riders Association

Just a heads up, myself, Dave Byrkit, and a few others have officially started Delta Riders Association (DRA) whose main purpose is to put on Delta based competitions. I am currently working on a getting a web site up and we have our first comp planned for July 15th. These will be WWA sanctioned events with accumulated points for the season. This year we plan to have 3 events with a minimum of 6 next year. Stay tuned for more info to follow.....

I'm in on those tourneys. Plus my buddy would ride too. We are out on the Delta every weekend, Disco Bay Crew. Finally a Delta tournament!!! PS, I saw Buffalows comment, use him as much as possible. Hes a great resource.

The plan is to have both cash and/or prizes for each class. Each event will run Intermediate thru Outlaw classes. We are currently trying to decide on how many events to have beginners classes in (I personally Love to see the kids involved). I am also looking to secure sponsors for this year and next. I would like to see Sliders included, but we will have to see what we can come up with. One other twist I have started to work out is having the top three outlaw riders go for broke against 2 pros.

yeeeeeeeaaaaaaah Booooy! Throwin Disco/delta area on the map where it belongs. See Buffalow. The man is hilarious and good at what he does. Film, Announce, organize, plan....I know anyone can do this but he has been in the industry for years and knows many of the Nor Cal Delta local rippers...and has worked with industry companies, events, and gatherings. He has connections and knows peeps. Glad to hear the great news.

Good news in the works, DRA is adding sponsors to the list almost daily so it looks like the first comp on July 15th will be better than originally planned. Looks like the tow boats will be an Epic and Moomba LSV. Our web site is currently under construction. Look for entry registration to start in mid June.
