I like the 2nd version a LOT better than the first. I rode the 2nd (one with sidecut) a lot and found it easier to carve, and it had a much more snowboard-type feel to it. Then it broke, and I was given an older model (popsicle stick) and couldn't do as much on it, it seemed a lot more squirrely and it was easier for me to blow out an edge and fall on my butt!.

In hindsight, I never really gave the popsicle stick as much of a try as I did the newer version, because I loved the new version SO much, and now that I have my warranty replacement 2007, I can't wait for some delta early evening butter!

I 2nd Eric's opinion. I much prefer the ride of the 07 that I have now compared to the 05 that I had. I assume it has to do with the sidecut, but it carves much more naturally and feels better on the water. I have heard of at least one person that preferred the 05 model though, fwiw.

i like the newer version alot better. It edges way better. Like J Fish says the new one feels much more like a snowboard.
By the way whats up Fisher? how is the sac show going. Is it the same rail as the one in reno?

I have the one that looks like its made out of wood, and its great! i dont know if its the 1st version or the second tho

I like the lose feeling of the old one, I like an extreamly lose board though.. Never had a problem with it slipping out, and you wont if you ride tail heavy and edge correctly.

I liked the old one you could ride it wake to wake a lot better, i talked to jd webb at the denver boat show and he said that they might be goin back to the 05 style next year great board to learn how to edge right on.... oh and a great board to customize
