Looking for a second wakeboard to ride my pair of '08 transits on that is really loads of fun to ride!! Like some board mad turning ability, very nimble, maybe some flex, and some explosive pop with a little soft landings on the side...What the funest board out there??!?!?!?!?

ROAM, ROAM, ROAM, ROAM, ROOOOAAAMMM....just make sure you get a big one, like a 141, i know that RONIX makes the covenant in a 145, those boards are sick and so much fun to play around with!

Roam or Covanant. Super fun board to tail press and spin mad surface 3s. Also teaches you great edge control

Yes Eder beat me to it but make sure you go a couple cm higher than what you normally ride. Ex. I ride a 138 as my core board, but a 145 covanant.

Get a roam and try murray's awesome tail press in Counterfeit This. That should keep you busy for a while.

Anyone else think Murray's section in counterfeit this was incredible?? The tail press, the butter, the jump rope, everything was so stylish and so clean!

Go for the new LF press. It's got nice pop, soft landings and just enough flex if you've never been on a flex board before. It's supposed to be a hybrid. Sort of a mix between a regular board and a flex board. The graphics are pretty sick, they were done by Mike Ennen.

The fish is a short wide board. You are supposed to ride it like 10 cm shorter than your normal board. Its not a flex board though.

Yeah I know of the 10cm shorter ride it has, but would that really have a different feel to it. Liquid Force Hypes-up its turning ability and pop, it probably has a good pop from it's Mid-with being so wide, but would you get the same pop from a flexboard?

If I were looking at a fun board I'd get a Slingshot. Basically because it gives you all the benefits of flex and being able to butter around like on a Roam. Plus, you get the wake riding of a legit board. Granted you can buy 3 Roams for the price of a Slingshot...

heh.. i have both a 05 roam and a 08 slingshot response.. i ride 06 transit magnums.. and from what ive found they are very similar i first had the roam.. everyone has a blast on it no matter how good or bad you may be.. its always a blast trying to find something new to do on it.. the slingshot rides very similar. though it feels much wider.. and the main difference is that the sling shot has fins.. which are removable.. for a second board choose the roam.. which is what i did till i started riding it as my primary board.. then i realized i wanted a little bit of fins every now and then.. so now the slingshot is my primary and the roam is back to #2.. you can do the same things with the presses.. i believe both are wood core. so they are very similar but if your looking for a second board go for the roam.. but beware it may take over as the primary..

i would go with the roam. its easy to customize like put fins in, shape edges, cut groves in the tail to allow it to flex more, stiffen the center, etc. Roams are fun and even more fun to customize your own.
