Nope, its pretty clear.... if you can get out early in the morning you can get some decent water, after about 10am forget it.... place is mad-house on the weekends. Have fun out there...

We usually go to Folsom during the week and while there might not be as many people as the weekend the water is crap if you are not out real early. The weekends are a zoo as we went last weekend and won't be going back again on a weekend. I can understand why you see so many tubers going over to the lake, as thats about all its good for from noon on. I am used to skiing on the Delta where you can always find calm water. It kills me because I live 3 minutes from the launch at Folsom, but if I want good water I have to drive an hour to an hour and a half to the river or the delta.

didnt expect any good boarding water til late evening if at all. Thought we were in a recession but after seeing all the idiots out there last weekend I am convinced otherwise. its the debris that really concerned me..still debating.............

I was just up in the North Fork a couple days ago (that is where Rattlesnake is located) and the debris was not too bad. There are stiil a few pieces here and there, but overall most of it has been moved.

Anyone know if they are going to be on Folsom September 16th? It's my birthday! A buddy and I are heading to the Tough Mudder event in Squaw Valley and would love to hook up for a tow on Friday. We're flying into Sacramento around noon on Friday.

If anyone is up for it, we'd love to tag along. $$$ provided of course!

If you launch at Rattlesnake Bar as the sun comes up you can get a few runs in before the wallys come out to play.
