I read a story in USA today about the Mayor of San Diego, who's daughter came out of the closet to him (a Gay marriage opponent)and told him about her long time partner. Suddenly he is pro gay marriage, and testifying in the Prop 8 case. Amazing how knowing someone close to you is gay can change everything.

Yeah our mayor pretty much sucks on all fronts, but I was impressed that he did speak up on the Prop 8 front. It is the one thing I can say I agree with him on.

I hadn't seen that previously (I don't attend protests) but the pro-life people look just as stupid and ignorant as any other protest clan that uses that prop. Duct tape is meant for fixing chit and duct work- not to cover pie holes IMO.
