Ive been trying to land my first 3 but i really dont know where to start from. I can jump wake to wake fine but when i try to do a 360 i cant ever seem to go wake to wake. I bought the waketrix video and look over that forever and i still cant seem to pull it off. here is a vid of some of my tries. so if anyone can help me please post.

patrick you look pretty good. your axis is fine which tends to screw most people up. it doesnt look like your creating enough slack in the rope which is making the handle pass difficult. id suggest pulling the handle harder if you wanna keep doing them wake to wake. however i learned these at 14-15 mph from inside to outside the wake. i probably did literally 150 of them before speeding up the boat still going inside to outside then going wake to wake. slowing the boat down will lessen the line tension and make the spin easier and the falls hurt less. no reason to take big falls on tricks that you can learn without killing yourself to learn.
that being said youre probably not to far away from landing these.

A few things...

You need a more "squatty" approach to the wake. If you could lessen your approach to the wake by 3-5 feet, and still clear the wakes, that would be ideal. You want to come into the wake in a squatty body position, and spring striaght up at the top of the wake. You should be going for vertical pop.

OK, also before you attempt this trick, I would dial-in two things. I would dial in my handle-pass for the trick. Do this by slowing the boat down to 15-18MPH or so, and doing surface 360's riding straight behind the boat (just spin in place, without jumping). That is the best way to practice doing your handle-pass. Next, I would recommend that you do HS FS 180's. If you get used to doing 180's, then you will be used to rotating your body in the direction.

If you want to just say...screw it and go straight to trying the 360 again (instead of doing the things I recommend), then I would suggest a few things. First off, the squatty approach. Trying to get more vertical pop (which will make the handle pass easier). And finally on most (but not all of your spins) you took off from the wake with too much weight on your front foot.

make sure that you pull hard with 2 hands to your rear hip.. dont think 3, think handle pass. if you make the handle pass then your body will naturally finish the rotation

It seems to me that your not standing tall at the wake and not getting the first of the 3 p's. POP. Get the handle in close to your body, stand tall, pop, then pass the handle.

i agree with brian. first focus on clearing the wake. get as much pop as you can and then work on the rotation. also, if possible get a tower or a boom. it looks like the rope is on the back of the boat. that will take away a lot of pop and make it harder to pull anything off.
